The Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy is a central state administration body. It carries out administrative and other tasks related to: employment policy, employment relations; labour market and active employment policy; work retraining programs and programs for increasing employability; pension insurance system and policy, unemployment records and employment assistance; social partnership and relations with trade unions and employers’ associations in the field of labour relations, labour market and employment; labour status of Croatian nationals employed abroad and jobs related to their return and employment in the country; working status of foreign nationals employed in the Republic of Croatia; improvement of the system of protection at work; international cooperation in the field of labour and employment.
