Ana Akrap

Is a contact person of the national Focal point of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work.

She obtained a bachelor’s degree as a sanitary engineer at the University of Applied Health Sciences and graduated from the College of Occupational Safety and Health, both in Zagreb. As an OSH expert she used to work in the biggest city Clinical Hospital Center and a few kindergartens.

As a senior expert advisor she was employed by the Institute for Occupational Safety Improvement. Now she is a senior expert advisor in the Ministry. Concerning OSH topics she took part in TAIEX expert missions and a few EU projects. She was a member of the Expert Group dedicated to Directive 89/656/EEC (PPE).
