The University of Milan, established in 1924, is the only Italian member of the League of European Research Universities (LERU). It offers study programmes in the areas of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law; Medicine and Healthcare; and Natural Sciences. Research activities led to more than 24.000 scientific publications in the last three years, 222 patents and 24 active spin-off. EU programmes represent a major source of funding; 99 grants were signed up to December 2018 under the Horizon 2020 Programme. The University of Milan is very active in knowledge exchange and technology transfer in partnership with external organizations. It aims to promote gender equality and prevent unlawful gender discrimination in all its activity domains.

Exchanges of students, scientists and professors with foreign universities are promoted through exchange programmes such as Erasmus+, LLP – Lifelong  Learning Programme, Erasmus Mundus, Socrates, European Research Council, Business Exchange and Student Training, Fulbright, Galileo, Vinci and Vigoni programmes, as well as through specific agreements with universities and research centers.

The research team involved in the current project will contribute with specific expertise in (a) conceptual models and measurement instruments to assess workers’ mental health quality of experience in job tasks; (b) empirical models for data analysis of experience fluctuation; (c) instrument adaptation for data collection among persons with autistic spectrum disorders; (d) evaluation of the organizational impact of the intervention.
